- NT Workstations 3.51 support os OS2 is limited to 16 bit OS2 console
- applications. This is sort of dated, like supporting OS2 1.0 only.
- NT can read and write OS2 HPFS drives. Can anyone tell me WHY Win95
- and NT disable the OS2 boot manager during their install process?
-
- OS2 Warp Connect comes with a working TELNETD, something NT really lacks.
- Also, Transarc's AFS (Andrew File System) makes coexisting with AIX
- very pleasant. I've also found that the OS2 fair share scheduler handles
- stuff like multiple concurrent FTPs and compute intensive tasks (like compiling)
- much nicer than NT (on a Pentium-90 32mb.) If I could run MSVC 4.0 under
- OS2, I'd probably spend more time there.
